Taxonomy Codes: ASPA contracted Health Plans have started requesting taxonomy codes to be submitted for providers. Previously, ASPA did not request this information but moving forward we will be asking this on our Forms and Applications as well as possible outreach to receive this information.

HealthSmart Complete Reminder that ASPA entered into a contract with the new HealthSmart Complete Product. This national commercial PPO product is completely separate from all local Centene products. This product will be administered by HealthSmart. If you are interested in Opting in, please contact karen@azspa.com to receive the Opt-In Form.

ASPA has entered into a contract with Prospect Medical Systems, a national IPA to allow our Members access to contracts which are value based that ASPA does not have current access to. Providers will be able to choose which plans they want to participate in (Opt-In). Example of possible plans: SCAN; Cigna; Aetna; Bright Health; United and Wellcare. The Opt-In for Prospect has been faxed and emailed to all of our Members, if you did not receive this, please contact Karen Ellington at karen@azspa.com.

Wellvana Direct Contracting Entity (DCE) Medicare Shared Savings Program: ASPA’s Value-Based Care Partner, Wellvana has secured 1 of 39 Direct Contracting Entity (DCE) Contracts from Medicare for 2022. This is the newest shared savings program from Medicare. Physicians who save can expect to earn 2-3 times more on their traditional Medicare patients when compared to a typical ACO. NEW ASPA PLAN CONTRACT Wellvana Humana Gold Medicare Advantage Program
ASPA’s Value-Based Care Partner, Wellvana has secured a Humana Gold Medicare Advantage contract. Wellvana’s contract offers $300 per completed Annual Wellness Visit Attestation. In addition, Wellvana rewards physicians on a quarterly basis for achieving HEDIS and Patient Experience Benchmarks and offers the chance for practices to earn up to 100% of any earned surplus generated by the practice annually.
